This is place to go if you're looking for delicious hitsumabushi around Nagoya station. There are several stores in Nagoya, one of them is 5 minutes walk away from Nagoya station and the one is inside the station.

This Hitsumabushi is served in a wooden bowl with grilled eel on a bed of Japanese short grain rice coated with sweet sauce. Omg just look at that glistening eel meat?!?!?!?

Quality is assured here as the grilled eel is grilled to perfection. Toppings such as scallions, wasabi, and grated leeks are served at the side. No bones in this so the enjoyment is maximized. Japan meals continues to blow my mind. The best unagi meal i have had so far.

The Nagoya style to eat this to split into 4 sections of the bowl, 1/4 with wasabi and scallions, 1/4 with broth added, 1/4 plain and the last 1/4 as you liked the best.
