REVIEW: NO MILK FISH SOUP BY DAY NO MILK ROOFTOP BAR BY NIGHT

No Milk Bistro
You have your usual unassuming shop selling fish soup that has no milk added in the day and at night go right up to their rooftop bar! 

Craving for some comforting sliced mackerel fish soup ($6) to warm yourself up, Look no further as No Milk provides just that. They're a bit similar to Ka Soh Restaurant with their ways of cooking the fish bones for hours to turn the soup into this milky broth but I find that the soup was lighter in terms of flavor. If you fancy the fried seabass version ($6) or best of both worlds with both mackerel and seabass ($7), they have it all. 

While you're there, you may want to pop by the second floor for the Rooftop bistro to get some bar bites along with drinks.

Homemade Black Charsiu ($12.80)
Grilled Pork Belly ($12.80)
Deep Fried Chicken Wings ($14.80)

Do you need some spice? Spicy Fragrant Handmade Egg Noodles ($8/$10) that feature their handmade springy noodles slathered in spicy mala sauce. While retaining the fragrance of mala, this bowl of noodles is probably only a 小辣.

Only fresh handmade pasta is used here. Here's a lifting shot of this delicious Beef Rendang Pasta ($16.80). The beef rendang is cooked for 12 hours to achieve the soft and tender texture. The flavourful and sweet beef rendang sauce clings so well to the al dente pasta. yum yum yum!
