Vietnamese Pho with Ayam Brand Vietnamese Pho Soup Paste Recipe

Phở or pho is a Vietnamese soup comprises of broth, rice noodles, herbs, and meat, sometimes chicken. Pho is not only a popular street food in Vietnam but also served worldwide in restaurants.

Vietnamese pho is made by simmering stocked infused with charred ginger, onion, spices and fish sauce for long hours. Making your own Vietnamese pho soup at home is not hard, all you need is The Ayam Brand Vietnamese Pho Soup Paste which uses Authentic ingredients! It contains just the ingredients that you need for a pho soup and it's all condensed into one jar. How convenient right?! It's honestly so good and leaves me wanting for more! 
I made 2 variations of this. One with meatballs and one with scallops and dumplings.


Vietnamese Pho with Ayam Vietnamese Pho Soup Paste


Ingredients
  • 185g jar AYAM™ Vietnamese Pho Soup Paste
  • 4 1/2 cups water
  • 200g Flat Rice Noodles (dry)
  • Spring Onions for garnishing
Cooking Directions
  1. In one pot, cook the rice noodles (following packet instructions) and then drain the water.
  2. In another pot, bring 4 1/2 cups water to a boil and then add in the paste.
  3. Add in whatever ingredients you want to cook
  4. Bring to the boil and strain all the scum that may have formed on the surface of the broth.
  5. Assemble the pho by arranging the noodles, ingredients and spring onions into a bowl.
  6. Pour in the boiling pho broth.
