9 Western food hawker stalls in Singapore you don't want to miss!

1) Uno Beef House

Uno Beef House has been operating in Toa Payoh for as long as I can remember. You can say I grew up eating their western food! They have been operating in coffee shops and selling their western food at affordable prices! I don't really eat beef steaks as I find it difficult to chew thus I have never ordered it at Uno beef House. :X Anyway they have other nice food here as well, like their Fish & Chips, Mixed Grill, and Black Pepper Chicken Chop. I always like having their chicken chop as the chicken was always well-marinated and tender. Their mashed potato comes in a ball shape with a fried outer layer.

No delivery services but You can 9057 9979 to pre-order so you do not have to wait long to get your food!

2) IL PICCOLO

It's hard to find western food that sells mainly pasta these days and if you find one they are usually either not authentic or just sell mainly tomato-based pasta. Il Piccolo has been around Toa Payoh for ages and sells authentic Italian food!! I used to go to their outlet near to SPH when I was a lot younger with friends and now they are based beside Toa Payoh Central Community Club. Where can find a hawker store that serves up affordable and somewhat authentic Italian food?

Some of the notable items to try there are the Gnocchi Di Patate which features soft pillowy Potato dumplings 🥟 drenched in creamy tomato sauce, and Carbonara with thick and creamy sauce and they also have a wide selection of pizzas!

They're available on Grabfood and Deliveroo for delivery!

Address: 970A Toa Payoh North
Singapore 318997
Opening Hours: 10am - 9pm daily

3) Chop Chop Western Grill

Chop Chop Western Grill have shifted from their store in Kallang Bahru to Toa Payoh last year as well. I have never really noticed them last time... but coz they're in the same coffee shop as Donya Japanese Cuisine and I was always there for their mentaiko salmon rice bowl. Who can resist that? LOL, I wanted to try something new and I was already thinking of having something new. I mean I always order pasta.

They're very interesting because they have many kinds of sauces for their dishes. Here's my creamy mushroom sauce with my chicken chop and garlic black pepper sauce for the salmon. Their side dishes are boring but their sauces kind of makes up for it.

They're available on Grabfood, Foodpanda, and Deliveroo for delivery!

4) The 6ixs Rosti

The 6ixs Rosti is just a stone's throw away from Buona Vista MRT. Many people may recognize them as they have been appearing at Food Festivals but do you know where's their actual stall? haha
As the stall name suggests, Rosti is the real attraction of The 6ixs stall. You can pair their rosti with Beef tenderloin cubes, chicken chop, chicken bratwurst sausage, smoked duck, and smoked salmon. You can also choose the kind of rosti from classic, spicy, and cheesy.

The rosti may look slightly burnt but is crunchy and yummy even though I took some time bringing it back from Bouna Vista~ I especially love the Beef Tenderloin cube which was tender and juicy!!! This was served with coleslaw and a dollop of sour cream as sides. The 6ixs Rosti are available for takeaway and can be found on Deliveroo.

Address: 25 Ghim Moh Link, Singapore 270025
Opening Hours: 12pm - 8.30pm Daily

5) Raffles Western Delights

All of the items on their menu are Rice sets and are priced affordably in the range of $4 - $6.50. I ordered the Chicken Chop Rice Set at $5 which comes with garlic rice and crinkle-cut fries as sides. Although the chicken chop was so thin, it was coated generously with their brown sauce yet remains tender and juicy.
The nearest MRT Station would be Bedok North and Kaki Bukit DT line. They're not on any Delivery platform but you can drop by for takeaways!

Address: 631 Bedok Reservoir Rd, Singapore 470631
Opening Hours: 11.30am - 9pm
Closed on Tuesday

6) Tokyo Western Food

Discovered another old-school chicken chop this time at Tampines! Rather interesting that this was served with a sandwich. The chicken chop was tender and juicy but the only downside is I find it rather thin for a more substantial bite.
Not sure if they're still open now, but you can call 9351 3077 to find out~ Got this number from google Maps.

Address: 823A Tampines Street 81, Singapore 521823

7) BBW Western Food

Ordered the Monterey Jack Chicken ($10) because it seems interesting and one of a kind. For those who don't know, Monterey Jack is the cheese. You’ll love juicy and tender and chicken chop topped with Monterey Jack cheese and pineapples. This was served with shoestring fries, salad, and baked beans. It was very flavorful and delicious!
They're available on Grabfood and Food Panda for delivery!

8) Western Barbeque

This stall at Old Airport Road appeared in many top lists for Western Food. The grilled tender chicken chop was drizzled in this delicious sweet garlic sauce and was served with coleslaw, crinkle-cut fries, sunny side up, and butter bread. It can't get any old school than this. Remember to ask for their signature garlic sauce!!!

They're on deliveroo for delivery!

Address: Old Airport Road Food Centre, 51 Old Airport Rd, #01-53, Singapore 390051
Opening Hours: 11am - 8pm

9) Happy Chef Western Food

I ordered the Chicken schnitzel with spaghetti bolognese and sunny side up as sides. TBH, the portion is too big but so value for money as this is less than 10 dollars. For ya'll who don't know what's a Schnitzel, it is a thin slice of meat fried in fat. The chicken is breaded before frying resulting in this crispy golden-brown goodness! Texture-wise this is okay, rather dry but quite tender in some parts. Saw some people eating the Chicken Kiev as well. It seems like a popular menu item there and moreover, this is quite rare to find as well. You can call them at 6398 0773.

Address: Blk 466 Crawford Lane #01-12, Singapore 190466
Opening Hours: 11am - 9pm
Closed on Thursday
