IPPUDO Brings Popular Seasonal Ramen from IPPUDO Japan, Miso Akamaru Ramen, to Singapore!

This cold season, cozy up with IPPUDO’s latest seasonal special, Miso Akamaru Ramen, a popular Winter favorite specially brought over from IPPUDO Japan! Available from 1 October to 31 December 2020, the limited-time special features a decadent surprise of cacao koyu that will warm you right down to your toes.

The addition of IPPUDO Special Cacao Koyu or chocolate-infused fragrant garlic oil is the subtle yet defining element in IPPUDO’s seasonal ramen, which brings out the depth of the ramen broth flavor with the interplay between the cacao’s nutty aroma and garlic oil’s sharp flavor. The ramen’s broth is a marriage of IPPUDO’s Original Tonkotsu Broth, which features pork bones simmered for 18 hours, blended together with a unique blend of four types of red and white miso. As such, the broth boasts a rich, umami flavor. The wavy noodles are custom made, with a springy and slightly thicker bite.

Each bowl comes with a chock-full of ingredients, including four pieces of tender chashu (two pork belly and two pork loin), crunchy fresh cabbage, chopped spring onions, an egg, minced pork marinated with sansho pepper, black pepper, and IPPUDO’s original soya sauce. IPPUDO’s original Akamaru miso paste adds another savory punch to the offering while the accompaniment of savory butter corn lends a subtle note to balance out the broth’s sweetness.

The Miso Akamaru Ramen is available at all IPPUDO outlets for dine-in, takeaway, and delivery via www.ippudo.oddle.me from S$17.50; subject to takeaway and delivery surcharges.
