REVIEW: Good cafe food in Singapore: For Tamago Sandwich, Puffy Souffle Omelette, English afternoon tea - PIVOT cafe, September 玖月, and The Wonderment Collective

PIVOT cafe is a new cafe that opened in late October. I ordered the Tamago Sando 🥪 ($7 ) which has egg salad and sous vide egg tucked between two fluffy slices of toasted bread. The egg salad filling is rich and creamy! For those of you who miss the ones at Japanese convenience stalls, can give this a shot. 🥰

PIVOT opens as early as 8am so those who wanna grab a quick and yummy sandwich breakfast can do so. It is nearest to the Raffles Place MRT Station. Aside from the sandwiches, they do serve cakes as well as drinks like the white that I have gotten.

Very nice Yogurt Puffy Omelette at September 玖月(玖月咖啡) which just opened in October in Beauty World Centre. I waited quite a while for this... The Omelette has a souffle melt in the mouth pancake texture with a strong eggy taste and fragrance. This comes with strawberry slices, blueberries, whipped cream, and yogurt as sides and is dusted generously with icing sugar. I was worried about whether I can finish as it looks massive in person. hahaha, I must say this is quite light as I managed to finish it.

Other than the instagrammable Souffle Omelette, they have local staples like Nasi Lemak, mee siam, mee rebus, and laksa.

The Wonderment Collective is a new Halal cafe located near Aljunied MRT. Their menu is pretty limited though with beverages such as coffee and tea and an assortment of pastries and desserts. They do have breakfast of the week but only 2 items. 😅

I ordered their tea cakes (earl grey and lemon Rosemary) and a pot of earl grey tea. The earl grey one had a subtle flavor while the lemon Rosemary tastes sweet with the white frosting on top.

Their basque burnt cheesecake and macarons look really good too! They also have scones, does this make you feel like you're having a legit English afternoon tea? haha
