REVIEW: Good losbter restaurant food in Singapore: For Boston Lobster Egg Noodles and Lobster Fettuccine - Jade restaurant at Fullerton Hotel and Oso Ristorante at Oasia Downtown

Had such a great stay at The Fullerton Hotel in Singapore last year. I had $120 dining credits and I chose to eat at the Jade restaurant. The restaurant is so pretty with garden motifs featuring flora and birds which gave the restaurant oriental elements. The light pastel blue combine with the chic elegance of the white and green palette creates a heavenly haze of warmth and softness also reflecting the name of the restaurant. Love it! Their specialty is authentic Cantonese cuisine.

I ordered the Simmered egg noodles with Boston Lobster and X.O sauce ($42). This is one of the best Lobster I have had so far! In Hong Kong, many restaurants serve noodles with braised lobster too. The Lobster is first deep-fried then simmered with prawn head oil, pork lard, and garlic for the fragrance and flavor. No wonder the meat is soft and so flavorful. The texture is almost the melt in the mouth kind. So good!!!! I would have preferred the noodles to be firmer though.

I also ordered the Braised fish maw and crab meat in Superior chicken broth ($18). Omg, there's so much maw and meat inside. The broth had such a good viscous consistency.

Oso Ristorante Singapore is an Italian Leisurely Fine-Dine Restaurant. They are originally at Tanjong Pagar, but shifted to Bukit Pasoh afterward and has returned to Tanjong Pagar on the 27th floor of Oasia Downtown in 2017. I had dinner there during my stay at Oasia Downtown. The decor there is kind of a classic-meets-contemporary design which was very beautiful.

CIOPPINO Prawns 🦐 Bisque, Tomato, Orange Zest
Cioppino is a tomato-based broth, omg this one was umami-packed. Taste-wise and fragrance 💯

FETTUCCINE Lobster 🦞 , San Marzano Tomatoes, Basil
With a rich and sweet tomato sauce, chunks of San Marzano tomatoes, and fork-tender lobster meat, this pasta was so good!

The dessert at Oso Ristorante Singapore was very well-done as well! I ordered the MIELE which was a Honey Beetroot Cake with Caramelized Red Wine. The cake was moist and warm with a subtly sweet and red wine taste. so good!!!!!
