HEINZ LAUNCHES WORLD’S FIRST TOMATO KETCHUP BURGER JUST IN TIME FOR INTERNATIONAL BURGER DAY

Celebrating the unmistakable taste of ketchup we all know and love, Heinz has launched the ultimate ketchup lover’s dish, the Heinz Tomato Ketchup Burger, and it’s just in time for International Burger Day on the 28th of May.

Partnering one of the world’s most loved foods with the world’s number one ketchup in an iconic pairing, the Heinz Tomato Ketchup Burger promises to elevate your everyday hamburger and is the ultimate ketchup meal for those who love ketchup…on their ketchup.

Using Heinz’s own tasty sun-ripened tomatoes and absolutely no artificial colors, flavors or preservatives, every layer of this extraordinary burger is bursting with the rich flavor and quality that comes from Heinz Tomato Ketchup. Pairing with a handful of specially handpicked ingredients, this limited-edition burger promises to bring out the mouth-watering taste of Heinz Tomato Ketchup from the first bite through to the final mouthful, now made available in an exclusive Heinz partnership with Fatburger.

Running for a limited time only from 28th-30th May, the Heinz Tomato Ketchup Burger will be available for takeaway exclusively from Fatburger branches, or delivery from Deliveroo, Foodpanda, Grabfood and Fatburger’s own ordering site (http://order.fatburgersg.com/) for $10.9 SGD. To make sure you will not run out of ketchup on International Burger Day, every burger ordered will receive a small bottle of Heinz ketchup to commemorate the occasion. 

A Social Media Competition for ‘Ketchup Krazy’ Fans

From the 28th-30th May, Kraft Heinz will be hosting a social competition for members of the public to take part and win their own burger kit consisting of a bun, patty, cheese, bacon, along with a small bottled ketchup 1.5oz. For ketchup fans, all they need to do is head to the Instagram page and take a picture or video telling @heinzsingapore (https://www.instagram.com/heinzsingapore) ‘how they are ketchup-krazy without telling them they are ketchup-krazy.’ 

And for those who are unable to purchase a special edition burger, HEINZ has recreated a special recipe to help everyone recreate it at home. 

Heinz Ketchup Burger Recipe

Cooking / Preparation instructions

Ingredients - 

● 1 x 4" Brioche Bun

● 25g Lettuce

● 20ml Heinz tomato ketchup

● 10ml Heinz mayo

● 14g grilled onions

● 1 x beef patty 130g

● 1 slice Swiss cheese 

● 1 beef bacon slice

● shredded lettuce

Burger patty cooking – (Cooked medium-well).

1. Oil the grill

2. Place patty on the grill for 45s

3. Press the patty flat and flip it over

4. Season with pepper and grill for 2 min

5. Flip to the other side and season with salt and grill for 2 min

6. At 1 min 30s, place swiss cheese on patty, leave till the cheese has melted. Be Careful not to burn the cheese. 

Grilled Onions cooking - 

1. Diced raw onions – cook on the grill for 30s until brown

Beef bacon cooking – 

1. Cook on both sides for 1 min until brown
