Join Capitol Singapore on ‘A Ride to an Enchanted Christmas’ to rediscover the Civic District all year round through Capitol Singapore & CHIJMES Sidecar Civic District Tour. Serving as the first-its-kind mothership launchpad, Capitol Singapore will be the starting and ending point of the seven-stop tour that will take riders through iconic heritage landmarks - Capitol Theatre, Hill Street Fire Station, Fort Canning, Armenian Street, The National Museum, and Padang, the traditional coffee shops of Purvis Street and finally CHIJMES, which houses the two national monuments – CHIJMES Hall and Caldwell House - before looping back to Capitol Singapore passing by Stamford House and Capitol Building. Watch out for Sidecar Santa on display at Capitol Singapore, making for ideal photo opportunities. Enchanted Christmas at Capitol Singapore’s Outdoor Plaza and Arcade @ The Capitol Kempinski

Indulge in the rich festive spirit and cheer at Capitol Singapore’s Outdoor Plaza, which will be transformed into the Capitol • Kempinski Christmas Market featuring a medley of treats and trinkets as well as F&B delicacies from The Capitol Kempinski Hotel Singapore. 

Within Capitol, Singapore’s iconic domes will be festive booths selling Christmas goodies such as panettone, log cake, and stollen. Shop for holiday gifts or Christmas souvenirs such as jewelry, accessories, and decorative ornaments. For those hoping to skip the crowd, all items will be available for purchase at the Capitol Singapore online site here. 

On the weekends, the sunny walkway that cuts through Arcade @ The Capitol Kempinski will host a string of Weekend Craft Workshops. Look forward to sessions of bento-making, knitting, punch needle, embroidery, calligraphy, leather painting, and candle-making. DIY a little something for an extra meaningful gift this Christmas or take this opportunity to craft something special with your loved ones. Or whip up a feast through Roasting and Baking Masterclasses hosted by chefs from The Capitol Kempinski Hotel Singapore. Participants will also get to bring their creations home at the end of the culinary masterclasses.

All eyes will be on the eight-meter-tall giant Capitol Kempinski Singing Tree that will come to life with melodious Christmas carols. Bring the children to delight in Snow Play and Snowfall that will make for precious photos and memories.

Fun-for-all Festivities at CHIJMES

Over at CHIJMES, the celebrations extend to the whole family. The excitement includes a skating rink for a fun time on the ice as well as snowfall for an all-around winter immersion. There will also be pet-friendly vintage sidecars that all members of the family, including the furry ones, can ride on.

Adding to the festivities will be timeless Christmas carols backdropped against the iconic CHIJMES Hall, dressed for the occasion with daily Projection Mapping of Christmas scenes and interactive message dedication on the weekends.
