INSANE EGG MAYO SANDWICH!
Have been seeing Korio often on IG. When I was staying at The Clan Hotel, I finally tried this. Because egg sammies have been all the rage, I had to get the Breakfast Sammy. This dish includes an excessive quantity of sour and creamy gribiche sauce with chives, crispy spam, and American cheese. The bread is toasted to a beautiful brown and holds up to all of the gloppy delight within. While this might be overpowering at times, I believe the saltiness of the spam helped to balance things out. The generous nature of the ingredients makes it well worth the $12 price tag.
KORIO is known for its New Yolk style brioche donuts, but what attracted me was their daily sandwich menu. They are located in Far East Square in Telok Ayer.

Hopscotch Singapore has quite a few interesting bespoke cocktails.
I noticed Hopscotch Singapore on Instagram and was immediately drawn to this drink!! I would not drink Taoist water imbued with a burning talisman, but I would drink this. Is it true that drinking liao will make you huat huat? The lucky charm is really sugar paper that has been coated with chocolate liqueur and then burnt for dramatic effect. Peppermint, Coconut Water, Gula Melaka, and Coconut Shrub are all included in this Cempedek Scotch. Although there was a lot of alcohol in it, I could taste the coconut water. Such a fun drink to have!
I had the Truffle Furikake Angel Hair at the Hopscotch.
The taste combination of the fragrant small sakura ebi, garlic, and the pungent truffle paste appeals to me. To be honest, it tastes like an enhanced Aglio olio. There are certain Japanese ingredients in the pasta, such as mirin and sake, which were also cooked with it. The truffle oil, furikake, bonito flakes, truffle shavings, and a 63-degree egg are then topped over the spaghetti. The truffle flavor is really noticeable. It's fantastic!!!
