OMMA opens doors in Telok Ayer, bringing the first full-fledged Korean BBQ experience with private karaoke and secret game room to the Central Business District

Fans of Korean barbecue in the Central Business District have something to rejoice with the opening of OMMA in Telok Ayer, bringing a taste of the first full-fledged Korean BBQ experience with private karaoke and secret game rooms to the area. 

More than just a Korean barbecue place, OMMA has carved a niche for itself as Singapore’s first woodfire KBBQ place that renders prime cuts and meats to smoky perfection with smokeless charcoal, complemented by five types of carefully selected wood chips: cherrywood, applewood, hickory, mesquite, and pecanwood.

Applewood with its subtle sweet nose is great for cooking seafood, vegetables, and white lean meat while letting the delicate flavors of these ingredients still shine through. Cherry wood also lends a mild fragrance to the same choices of seafood, vegetables, and white meat. Pecanwood brings a higher intensity, perfect for searing seafood, and white and red meat while flavoring it with just a touch of smokiness. Hickory will cut through the fattiness of poultry, pork, and red meats to thoroughly cook with punchy smokiness. Last but not least, the mesquite will take on the full game of pork, mutton, beef, and the like and add a boldness unlike any other. Opt for any to cook your meal for only $3 per 30g.

The signature meat at OMMA is the Japanese A4 Ribeye ($81/180g) and A4 Striploin ($76/180g), offered only by the best premium cut. The Iberico Pork Jowl ($28/180g) will also satiate the appetites of even the most voracious lover of pork. For something unconventional, opt for the Beef Tongue ($39/180g), a cut more commonly found in Japanese yakiniku than Korean barbecue; OMMA flames it up to crisp perfection with a juicy bite.

Exclusive to the Telok Ayer outpost, the dining experience is fully complemented with private karaoke lounges and secret game rooms to add to a fun night out.

Bring a friend for lunch and enjoy 1 for 1 lunch at only $20. Take your pick from Kimchi Soup, Soy Bean Paste Soup, Bulgogi (Beef/Pork/Chicken), Spicy Ramen, or Non-Spicy Ramen, with the soup and meat options complemented with rice for full satiation. The promotion is available from 11am-2pm daily, last order at 1.30pm. 

Additionally, enjoy *all-day free-flow beer with a minimum spend of $35++ per pax on food or opt for the 1-For-1 Soju. Cocktails may also go on flow for $18 while the private karaoke room is yours to use exclusively with a $1,000 minimum spend. The karaoke room seats up to 22 persons while there is another option for smaller private rooms that can comfortably fit groups of four. 

After hours bring Happy Hour deals that will have you forgetting about the woes of work in no time. From 5pm - 7pm, enjoy $9++ cocktails/house wine/beer with freeflow banchan.
