REVIEW: Good Tze Char in Singapore: FuLee Seafood 富俐海鮮 in Toa Payoh Singapore

When it comes to experiencing the vibrant tapestry of Singaporean cuisine, FuLee Seafood 富俐海鮮 in Toa Payoh stands out as a beacon of culinary excellence. Known for their signature curry fish head, my recent visit to their outlet was nothing short of a gastronomic delight. While their curry fish head is a crowd favorite, I decided to broaden my culinary horizons and sample a diverse array of dishes on offer.

Address: Lor 4 Toa Payoh, #01-611 Block 73, Singapore 310073
Opening Hours: 1.30pm - 12.30am

First on the list was the Seafood Yam Basket, a tantalizing creation where mashed yam is meticulously formed into a ring, cooked to perfection, and then generously filled with an assortment of fresh seafood such as succulent fish slices to tender sotong and plump prawns. Served atop a bed of fragrant fried rice vermicelli, the yam basket boasted a crispy exterior giving way to a delightfully soft interior, leaving me craving for more.

No meal at FuLee Seafood is complete without indulging in their Fish Maw Egg Soup, a perennial favorite among patrons. Brimming with chunky fish maws and an array of other ingredients, this hearty soup offered a rich and savory broth that warmed both the body and soul.

Equally captivating was the Cai pu homemade beancurd, a dish that epitomizes the art of simplicity done right. Handcrafted with care, the golden-hued beancurd exuded a tantalizing aroma that whetted the appetite. The addition of cai po lent a delightful radish flavor, perfectly complementing the sweet and crunchy exterior of the deep-fried tofu.

Their Shark fin with crab meat had fluffy chunks of crab meat with silky ribbons of egg white that made the thick soup delightful.

Join me in savoring the flavors of Toa Payoh at FuLee Seafood, where every bite tells a story of passion and dedication to the culinary craft. Your taste buds will thank you for it!
