If you’re looking for a cozy café in Singapore that pairs artisan bread, specialty coffee, and hearty comfort food, Breadyard is a spot worth discovering. Nestled in Fusionopolis Galaxis at One-North, this charming artisan bakery café in Singapore has quietly built a loyal following for its beautifully handcrafted breads, made using traditional Japanese and European baking techniques that deliver both texture and flavor in every bite.
More than just a bakery, Breadyard has established itself as one of the standout brunch cafés in Singapore, offering a menu that goes beyond freshly baked loaves and pastries. Expect a satisfying spread of all-day breakfast dishes, gourmet sandwiches, specialty coffee, and comforting pasta dishes—making it a versatile dining destination whether you’re stopping by for breakfast, lunch, coffee, or a casual dinner in the One-North dining scene.

One of the highlights of dining at Breadyard is its well-rounded menu for pasta lovers in Singapore. From creamy classics like Carbonara to indulgent plates such as Truffle Mushroom Pasta and robust tomato-based seafood pasta, the café delivers comforting flavours that appeal to a wide range of palates. During our visit, we tried two of their signature pasta dishes—the Fettuccine Miso Cream and the Pesto Pasta with Onsen Egg.
The Fettuccine Miso Cream offered an interesting Japanese-Western fusion twist. Instead of a thick cream sauce, it came with a lighter, broth-like consistency that felt more delicate and subtle on the palate. The savory miso flavour added a gentle umami depth, though the sauce was slightly watery and didn’t coat the pasta as richly as expected. Paired with homemade meatballs that had a unique texture, the dish was comforting, albeit a little unconventional compared to richer cream-based pasta dishes commonly found in Singapore cafés.


The true standout was the Pesto Pasta with Onsen Egg, easily one of the most memorable dishes on the menu. Vibrantly green and generously coated in fragrant basil pesto, every bite was rich, herbaceous, and deeply satisfying. The perfectly cooked onsen egg elevated the dish beautifully—the silky runny yolk blending into the pesto sauce created an added layer of creamy indulgence that made the pasta feel luxurious yet balanced. For fans of bold basil flavours, this could easily rank among the best pesto pasta dishes in Singapore.
While we noticed some inconsistency in pasta texture—one plate cooked more al dente, the other softer—the flavours, especially from the pesto pasta, more than made up for it. Combined with its artisan bakery roots, warm café atmosphere, and diverse brunch menu, Breadyard remains one of the more underrated gems in Singapore’s café scene, particularly for those exploring One-North restaurants and cafés.
