REVIEW: Good Japanese Ramen in Singapore: Sanpoutei Ramen at Holland Village Singapore

My friend went to sanpoutei ramen and had raving reviews about this place! So i went with my friend again to try this! They have 2 outlets in Singapore.

Address: Holland Village

253 Holland Ave #01-01 Singapore 278982

Opening hours: 11.30am – 11pm

I tried their dipping noodles and it was awesome! It is one of the best dipping noodles i have tried in Singapore. I think i ever tried dipping noodles at Ramen Champion but that was only average. Japanese calls this Tsukemen.

You can also check out my reviews for the ramens i have tried in Tokyo here:

I went on a Saturday afternoon. Shop was relatively quiet and there was no queue when i reached. Okay i read that Sanpoutei Ramen serves ramen with broth that is boiled for six hours using vegetables, chicken, pork bone and dried sardine all imported from Japan. Their ramen noodles are also hand made!

So  as i said, i ate the dipping noodles. Dipping noodles comes like this. The noodles and soup broth are separated. You're suppose to dip the noodles in the soup.

The noodles here and just right. Not hard and soft. Definitely on par with Japanese standards and quality is awesome! Soup was rich and flavorful! I will definitely go back again.
