The Japanese restaurant is known for its unique DIY, interactive, and multi-sensory culinary experience. Bucking this trend, the 313@somerset outlet will dole out two new series of lip-smacking offerings: Pepper Rice Burgers and Pepper Rice Bowls. For the burgers, seasoned rice patties serve as the roof and bottom. Sandwiched in between is a choice of meat seasoned in special signature sauce, lettuce, and a drizzle of mayonnaise. Options include U.S. Beef (S$6.80), Chicken (S$6.50), Salmon (S$7.50), and Beef Hamburg (S$7.50).
The Pepper Rice Bowls make for a comforting and substantial meal. The pearly short-grained rice is imbued with the fragrance of the restaurant’s special margarine, tossed with sweet corn, seasoned with freshly ground black pepper, and sprinkled with spring onions. Choose to top it with U.S. Beef (S$7.50), Diced Cut Steak from Australia (S$9.20), Beef Hamburg (S$7.90), Chicken (S$7.20), or Salmon (S$7.90). Up the indulgence by choosing add-ons, from sweet corn (S$0.80) to beef slices (S$1.50) and egg (S$1).
For both the Pepper Rice Burger and Pepper Rice Bowl series, there is also the option to complete the meal with 1 x canned drink (S$1.50), 1 x canned drink and Shake Shake Salad (S$3.90), 1 x canned drink, and Chicken Karaage (S$4.90) or 1 x canned drink and Steak Bites (Australian Beef) (S$5.90).
