REVIEW: Good cafe food in Singapore: Slow Bakes Cafe Bakery with water front view at Yishun

What attracted me to this cafe is that it is an open concept and you can have a waterfront view of Yishun pond park. Slow bakes cafe bakery is located at Tzu Chi Humanistic Youth Centre. As with cafes that are so close to nature, we have ants, random birds walking by, and also komodo dragon nearby. The nearest MRT station is Yishun.

Address: Tzu Chi Humanistic Youth Centre, 30A Yishun Central, 1, Singapore 768796
Opening Hours: 7am - 2pm

The best seats are the ones facing the pond and that is hard to get!! Waited very long for them, so had to take a picture there!

I chose the big breakfast set which costs $15. Comes with 2 drinks, 4 hardboiled eggs, and 4 toast. I swapped 2 toasts for their homemade bread. I ordered the SUNDRIED TOMATO ($5.90/$11.80) and EARL GREY ($2.80).

Choices of bread include Sourdough slice/baguette, Pumpkin Loaf, Turmeric and Yam Swirl Slice, Chocolate/Matcha Loaf, and Brioche Slice. I chose the pumpkin and turmeric and purple sweet potato swirl one. Their homemade toast was very nice. I had their peanut butter and unsweetened almond butter.
