Homegrown Brand Shake Shake In A Tub Opens Their First-Ever Flagship Café at 111 Somerset Offering Cheese Fondue and Fries Ferris Wheel

Since opening its doors three years ago, Shake Shake In A Tub has captured the hearts of local gourmands with its halal-certified repertoire of delicious fried chicken and fries in various fun flavors. Now, from a humble kiosk setting, it is opening its flagship store on 9 June 2022! This is their first dine-in café located in the heart of Singapore’s shopping belt at 111 Somerset.

 

Spanning 958 square feet, the 32-seater café is a fantastical space formed by a “vibrant tunnel”. At the vibrant tunnel, witness the gradual change of colours and height from lower ceiling at the front to higher ceiling at the back. It creates a visual compression when one arrives at the store. This allows the front counter in contemporary vibrant yellow to become the focal point.

 

Say Cheese! Fondue ($21.90)

 

Other than the brand’s well-loved chicken and fries, gourmands can expect Instagrammable dine-in mainstays here at their café. Highlights include the Say Cheese! Fondue ($21.90), perfect for two to four pax. A medley of cheese is swirled together with a dash of lemon juice, lending a slight tang that cuts through the savoury note. Dip the accompanying popcorn chicken and shoestring fries into the melted cheese and know the meaning of bliss!

The Fries-Go-Round Set ($15.90) is for any lover of fries, comprising five types of addictive delights: shoestring fries, curly fries, criss-cut fries, pom poms (tater tots) and onion rings. The Ferris wheel comes with 6 kinds of sides in 8 exciting flavours; there’s up to 48 variations to try altogether!

The Triple Truffle Fried Chicken Set ($19.90) packs a truffle-licous punch. Munch on truffle fries and dunk your onion rings and chicken into Shake Shake’s popular truffle sauce. If spicy is your thing, opt for the “DAEBAK” Korean Fried Chicken Set ($21.90), that comes complete with spicy chicken, seaweed fries, corn dogs and kimchi.

Wash the food down with the fizzling and indulgent Root Beer Float ($3.80). Or opt for Dilmah Tea’s array of palate-cleansing Ceylon teas. Options include White Peach Iced Black Tea, Rose and French Vanilla Iced Tea and Arabian Jasmine Iced Tea ($3.50 each), all of which come in convenient bottles.
