Chef Kin HK Wanton Noodles Celebrates 8th Location at 808 French Road

Opening to long lines when Chef Kin HK Wanton Noodles made its debut in September 2021, Chef Kin HK Wanton Noodles is now a familiar sight to many. To cater to many of their loyal customers who are heading back to work beyond the heartlands, Chef Kin HK Wanton Noodles will be opening its most central and auspicious eighth location at 808 French Road on 21 June 2022, bringing his heart-warming bowls of noodles to the people working downtown.

An Alignment of Auspicious ‘8’s

The number 8 is considered one of the luckiest of numbers for the Chinese. Both the Cantonese and Chinese pronunciation for the number 8 sounds similar to an auspicious word which means ‘to prosper' or ‘good fortunes’. As a Cantonese himself, Chef Kin subscribes to this perspective. For him, the more 8’s the better! The result – his 8th outlet is strategically opened at 808 French Road.

To ride on this momentous occasion and to bring ‘8’ (prosperity and good fortunes) to everyone, Chef Kin will be offering an exclusive bundle deal island-wide on 27th and 28th June, where customers can purchase their popular Wanton or Dumpling noodles accompanied with the new HK Wantons with Black Vinegar & Chili Oil or 红油抄手 ($4.50) at just $8 (U.P $9.50).

That’s not all! To top things off, fans of Chef Kin HK Wanton Noodles can also stand a chance to win $100 Grab Vouchers with the giveaway campaign that’s running from now till the end of the month. Be sure not to miss out on these exciting happenings that are happening all in June!

New Permanent Side Dish To Celebrate 8th Outlet

True to his belief of wanting to make authentic HK-style wanton noodles accessible to all and to celebrate the new opening, Chef Kin is introducing HK Wantons with Black Vinegar & Chili Oil or 红油抄手 ($4.50), which is not commonly found in coffee shops and hawker centres.

Chef Kin shares, “We are so thankful for the support of our loyal customers that have been with us since the start. The launch of our eighth location is truly a significant milestone and we’d like to celebrate this occasion by introducing our HK Wantons with Black Vinegar & Chili Oil dish. We know Singaporeans love all things mala so we created this dish to show our gratitude to our patrons and we hope to continue to share our passion to bring authentic and affordable Hong Kong dishes across Singapore.”

Vibrant and flavourful, Chef Kin’s famed silky juicy wantons are doused in tangy black vinegar and chili oil sauce. This aromatic combination delivers a perfect balance of sweet, garlicky, tangy, and spicy flavors, making it a tantalizing side dish. Simply irresistible, this delicious treat will not disappoint.

An excellent companion to Chef Kin’s signature noodles, customers may look forward to pairing the HK Wantons with Black Vinegar & Chili Oil with:

HK Wanton Noodle Soup ($5.00), a classic bowl filled with plump wantons, springy duck egg noodles, and umami-laden broth.

HK Dumpling Noodle ($5.00), a twist on the classic, featuring dumplings packed with bamboo shoots and black fungus for that extra texture.

HK Braised Beef Brisket Noodle ($6.50), an indulgent dish, served with tender beef brisket and noodles coated in top-quality oyster and soy sauces.
