REVIEW: Good Hokkien mee in Singapore: Prawnography at Novena Gardens

Are you a fan of Hokkien mee? Do you enjoy trying out new eateries in town? If you answered yes to both of these questions, then you'll definitely want to read on!

Address: Novena Gardens, 273 Thomson Rd, #01-03A, Singapore 307644

Opening Hours: 9.30am - 9.30pm

Recently, I was working up a sweat in Novena and decided to swing by Prawnography for dinner. As a self-proclaimed Hokkien mee addict, I had to try out their signature deluxe fried Hokkien mee stacked with scallops, prawns, squid, pork belly, and fish cake. Although I was hoping for more ingredients, the portion size was huge and could easily satisfy two or more people.

The best part? It was the wet version that I absolutely love and it was bursting with flavor. Every bite was an explosion of flavors in my mouth, making it a worthwhile experience. However, as someone who appreciates the essence of wok hei, I must admit that I was slightly disappointed that I couldn't quite detect it in the dish.

Despite this small letdown, the meal was still a solid one that I would highly recommend to anyone in the area. Prawnography is undoubtedly a must-visit spot for Hokkien mee lovers, especially for those who enjoy a variety of seafood and meat in their dishes. And while the portion size might seem intimidating at first, rest assured that it's well worth it and could easily feed a group of hungry diners. They also sell other dishes such as Fried rice, Prawn noodles, and pasta.
