CURRY RICE TO CARRY YOU AWAY

Try the curry rice in five delectable varieties, each designed to bring out the best of the light curries that nonetheless pack a solid punch of flavors with a blend of Japanese spices. Taste the OG of curry rice with the Omu Curry Rice ($14) a simple yet delicious serving of fragrant rice, topped with warm, flavourful curry and omu egg of prized runny, silky-smooth texture.

The Tori Omu Curry Rice ($16) adds chunks succulent chicken chops cut from sous vide chicken fillet, marinated for 24 hours before pan-fried to juicy succulence.

Bite into crispy and juicy Japanese-style chicken cutlets on top of your rice with the Tori Katsu Omu Curry Rice ($18) each coated in light, crispy katsu batter before fried to crunchy perfection.

The pork option comes with the Tonkatsu Omu Curry Rice ($18) made with Japanese pork marinated for at least 24 hours, allowing it to soak up the rich flavors. It is then coated with a Japanese katsu batter and fried to a golden crunch, creating a crispy and satisfying texture. The dish is served with a side of flavourful curry, completing the delightful Japanese fusion experience.

The Hamburg Omu Curry Rice ($20) sizzles and serves up a generous piece of Japanese pork and beef hamburg patty seasoned with minimal flavoring to let the natural tastes shine through. It is then grilled to perfection with just a light dusting of salt and pepper.

With all options, diners may add a topping of Mozzarella Cheese Fondue for an additional $4, indulging in a creamy, rounded, and wholesome finishing touch to the curry sauce. This choice makes the dining experience more satisfying for those looking to savor an extra touch of richness.

FAMILIAR CLASSICS THAT NEVER DISAPPOINT

Amidst the new and revamped items, returning diners can find comfort in knowing that familiar classics, which have become a menu mainstay, are still available.

The Chicken Kebab continues to serve up grilled juicy cubes of chicken that are marinated for at least 24 hours with a chef’s special spice blend that includes cumin, five-flavor spice powder, and herbs, served with fries.

The Nori Tacos remain a bestseller with a filling of your choice. In crispy seaweed taco shells, choose from salmon filling in umami creamy sauce and orange tobiko, tuna in a mildly spicy sauce with caviar tobiko, or kani salad with green tobiko.

For the carb-conscious, Riceless Sushi Rolls are the perfect indulgence, available in four flavors. The Mamasan Riceless Roll comes with prime fish cuts of tuna, salmon, and Hamachi with cucumber, marinated radish, avocado, kani salad, and ikura. The Naked Roll layers salmon with shrimp tempura, kani stick, cucumber, avocado, kaiware, tobiko, and spicy mayo. Another option is the Forbidden Love of salmon, kani stick, tempura bits, and cucumber with avocado, black tobiko, kaiware, and wasabi mayo. Finally, the Dancing Geisha tempts with salmon, tuna, boiled shrimp, and cucumber topped with avocado, baby radish, ikura, and ume mayo.

Sweet endings are accounted for with a selection of over 20 unique Japanese fruits and tea liqueurs, pouring to a tantalizing 12%-20% ABV. Popular options such as Yuzu, Matcha, and Chardonnay Milk Liqueurs are guaranteed to please your palate with icon flavors synonymous with Japan. Try tea-based liqueurs like Sakura and Hojicha Tea Liqueurs for a taste out of the ordinary, available both by the glass (from $12++) and bottle (from $58++). Ohayo Mama San now carries the largest selection of Japanese Fruits & Tea Liqueurs in Orchard.

Cakes galore tempt from behind gleaming glass dessert counters, like the best-selling Basque Burnt Cheese Cake as well as the newly added Japanese Mont Blanc.
