Checking out Green House Prawn Mee Corner 青屋蝦麵 which has a storied history of over 30 years and the prestigious Michelin Bib Gourmand recognition. They are also awarded the Michelin Bib Gourmand. Our order included the Hokkien prawn mee and their otah.

Address: 133A, Jalan Burma, George Town, 10050 George Town, Pulau Pinang, Malaysia

Opening Hours: 9 am - 1.30 pm

The menu is a celebration of diversity, offering not only the standard prawn mee components like succulent prawns, eggs, and a choice of kway teow noodles but also a variety of add-ons to customize your experience. Depending on availability, you can elevate your dish with options such as pork intestine, ribs, meatballs, pork skin, roast pork, and sausages. We opted to enrich our noodle bowls with the addition of pork belly and roast pork.

The heart of any prawn mee lies in its broth, and Green House Prawn Mee Corner does not disappoint. The broth, adorned with a pleasing red hue, captivates the senses with a harmonious blend of savory and umami flavors.

Penang-style otak-otak offers a more moist and juicy texture, coupled with a mild spicy flavor profile. This is not for you if you don't like your otah soft.
