REVIEW: Good Prawn Noodles in Singapore: Jia Wei 家味 prawn noodles and lor mee in Toa Payoh Singapore

Nestled within the bustling Kim Keat Palm Market & Food Centre lies a gem that has been around for over a year – Jia Wei 家味. This humble establishment offers both prawn noodles and lor mee dishes.

We ordered the Prawn Noodles priced at $4. While I had anticipated deshelled prawns, the halved prawns turned out to be easier to open. 

Speaking of the broth, it was undoubtedly the star of the show. Bursting with a symphony of flavors, it boasted a rich brininess that tickled the taste buds and left a lasting impression. The addition of fried shallots and spring onions lent a fragrant aroma and subtle sweetness to the broth.
