REVIEW: Good Chinese noodles and dumplings Hawker stall in Singapore: Xi Duo Duo 喜多多 and Xi Ying Ke 喜迎客 in Maxwell Food Centre Singapore

I ordered the 酱香牛肉面 sauced beef noodles and 上海小笼包 Shanghai Xiao Long Bao.

The noodles are firm and chewy, providing a satisfying texture that pairs well with the beef. Although the beef wasn't the most tender, I appreciated the rich broth.

The xiao long bao features delicate, thin skin that holds a juicy filling, which bursts with each bite. The broth inside is rich and sweet, perfectly complementing the tender, flavorful pork filling.

Xi Duo Duo 喜多多 is another stall located at Maxwell Food Centre that specializes in Chinese noodles, dumplings, and rice. Their unique selling point is that they also have scrambled egg rice and noodles that danlao is famed for and they happen to operate in the same hawker.

I ordered the black pepper chicken egg with mee pok and the xiao long bao. The noodles were nice and chewy. The eggs were silky and fluffy. The chicken was added last, together with the black pepper sauce. The chicken chunks were tender. 

The dumplings feature a delicate, thin skin that envelops a juicy filling. The broth inside is rich and savory, enhancing the tender, flavorful pork filling.
