Situated at Goldhill Shopping Centre, just a short walk from Novena MRT, this charming eatery has quickly become a favorite of mine. My second visit was just as delightful, with even more flavors to savor.

Nostalgia in Every Bite
Hong Kong Cha Kee’s interior, with its nostalgic green booths, transports you straight to a classic Hong Kong Cha Chaan Teng. The recent rebranding from Hong Kong Day Cha Kee to Hong Kong Cha Kee brings an exciting Day-and-Night concept, expanding the menu to offer a wide array of authentic Hong Kong dishes throughout the day.
Daytime Favorites: Comfort in Every Bite
Curry Fish Balls & Squid: A quintessential Hong Kong street food staple, these tender fish balls and squid were bathed in a rich and spicy curry sauce. Each bite delivers that satisfying kick you’d expect from a well-made curry.
Curry Brisket with Rice: The curry brisket was tender and flavorful, simmered to perfection in a deeply aromatic curry sauce. The beef with a rich, savory taste that paired wonderfully with the fluffy white rice. The curry was hearty, with just the right amount of spice to warm your palate without overwhelming it.
Evening Highlights: Stir-Fried Delights
Sweet & Sour Pork with Pineapple: This classic dish was a delightful balance of sweet and tangy flavors. The pork was crispy on the outside while remaining juicy on the inside. The sweet and sour sauce was vibrant, with the pineapple adding a refreshing burst of sweetness that complemented the savory pork.
Braised Fresh Prawns with Glass Noodles: The standout dish of the evening was undoubtedly the Braised Fresh Prawns with Glass Noodles. The prawns were incredibly fresh, tender, and brimming with flavor. The glass noodles soaked up the savory braised sauce, becoming wonderfully silky and rich. Each bite was an explosion of umami, making this dish a must-try.
