From the moment you approach Morihana, you’re greeted by a serene atmosphere that instantly sets it apart from the bustling surroundings. The European-inspired architecture, accentuated by soft cream tones and natural wood elements, creates a warm and inviting ambiance. The Zen-inspired tree branches at the entrance add a touch of Japanese minimalism, making the bakery a peaceful haven amidst the lively colors of Spring Labs.

Stepping inside, the spacious dining area is a continuation of this theme, with warm wood-toned rattan furniture that exudes comfort. It’s the kind of place that makes you feel right at home—an ideal spot to relax and indulge in some truly remarkable pastries.

What sets Morihana apart is not just its aesthetic charm but its incredible dedication to crafting unique flavors. Starting as a humble home-based bakery, Morihana has grown into a renowned destination for dessert lovers. Their approach to pastry-making is a seamless blend of French and Japanese techniques, focusing on using only the finest natural ingredients and fresh fruits to achieve the perfect balance of sweetness and texture.


One of the highlights of my visit was the Muscat pastry. As a grape lover, I couldn’t resist ordering this beautifully crafted treat. The pastry is topped with plump, juicy Muscat white grapes that burst with flavor. Beneath the grapes lies a layer of tangy Greek Yogurt Cheese that adds a creamy richness, balanced by the delicate sweetness of Shan Cha Jelly. The base, made of crisp Pate Feuilletee, provides a satisfying contrast with its buttery flakiness. Each bite is a delightful symphony of flavors and textures—a true masterpiece.

Another must-try is the Fuji, a pastry that takes you on a journey through the intricate layers of flavor. The smooth Matcha Mousse delivers a rich, earthy taste, perfectly complemented by the crunchy Salted Caramel Nuts that add a touch of sweetness and a hint of saltiness. The highlight, however, is the decadent Matcha Nama Chocolate, which brings an indulgent creaminess to every bite. The combination is pure bliss, especially for matcha enthusiasts.
