REVIEW: Good Cafes in Singapore: Baker & Cook cafe at Holland Village Singapore

This post is super throwback! Was looking for somewhere to chill at Holland V and friend recommended this place. This place is kind of quiet compared to the rest of the cafes there but nonetheless provided respite from the nightlife in Holland V.

Baker & Cook - Singapore's only true artisan bakery & food store chain is the brainchild of Global Baker Dean Brettschneider. This cafe sells a wide array of cakes, bread, brunches and packaged products. They have the usual Eggs Benedict, pancakes, coffees, and pastries.

Since we went there after lunch, we only ordered some coffee and cakes! We ordered blueberry cheesecake and carrot cake! I like how moist the carrot cake is and the subtle sweetness it gives. Blueberry cheesecake is alright though. Not too sour from the overtly topping of blueberry as shown in the picture below. Coffee is awesome and it is good to pair it with cakes like how we chill~
