REVIEW: Good Cafes in Singapore: The Larder Cafe at Toa Payoh Singapore

The Larder Cafe is the newest addition to the cafes in Toa Payoh and is situated in Toa Payoh Central.  The whole place is dimly lit with simple cemented walls and floors and wooden furniture.  Larder means a place where food is stored.

Address: 177 Toa Payoh Central, #01-124, 310177
Opening Hours: Tues - Sun 11am - 10pm

Here's what we ordered:

Seafood Aglio ($16 SGD)
Smoked Salmon Egg Benedict ($16 SGD)
Hazelnut Latte ($5.30 SGD)
Tea ($4.00 SGD)

Smoked Salmon Egg Benedict is served with greens. Eggs were swamped with generous hollandaise sauce atop smoked salmon. Brioche bread is beneath all these. It's nothing special as alot of other places are serving these kinda brunch food.

Seafood Aglio consists of squid, prawns and mussels. Also nothing fanciful.
