REVIEW: Hua Fong Kee Roasted Duck and Benson Salted Duck

I always thought the texture of duck to be awfully difficult to chew. hahaha. However, there are some stores that sell yummy duck rice in Toa Payoh. I ordered the duck legs. I think drumsticks are used to describe chicken. Both duck meats are quite tender. They are also situated in coffee shops.

Hua Fong Kee Roasted Duck has really springy noodles with no alkaline taste. Very similar to hiang ji. Their dumplings are pretty good too. Very packed full of liao. Tender and succulent duck meat.

Benson salted duck is kind of unique here. I have never tasted salted duck before. lol They marinate the duck in salt water for 1.5 hours. There's a subtle saltiness to it but still manageable. It kinds of make the duck retain its moisture thus making it tender. Oh yes they cooked their rice in chicken rice style.
