REVIEW: Good French Cafes in Singapore: MERCI MARCEL at Tiong Bahru Singapore

Nestled in the charming Tiong Bahru neighborhood, Merci Marcel offers a unique lifestyle experience, seamlessly blending a café with a boutique. Founded by French proprietors, it exudes an unmistakable French flair, evident in its menu offerings and ambiance.

Indulge in a delectable array of French delicacies, including Crab Tartine, Ravioles de Royans, Pain au Chocolat, and classic brunch staples like scrambled eggs and eggs benedict. The menu is a true reflection of French culinary traditions.

During my visit, I savored the Ravioles de Royans, exquisite French dumplings pasta filled with Tete de Moine Cheese, accompanied by generous cheese florets atop a creamy white sauce. Perfect for cheese enthusiasts, this dish promises a delightfully cheesy experience. Additionally, the croissant I ordered was impeccably flaky and buttery.

Despite the bustling lunchtime crowd, I found solace in an outdoor seat, surrounded by the café's charming décor. Adorned with French Café Bistro Rattan Chairs and lush palm and hanging plants, the atmosphere exudes a distinctively French backyard vibe, transporting patrons to the streets of France.
