REVIEW: BEEF SUKIYAKI DON KEISUKE

People already started queuing before the shop opens and this goes to show how popular this new restaurant is! The wait to go in is around 30 minutes - 45 minutes depends on how fast the people eat inside. This shop is reminiscent of the Japanese shop from the interior to seating. Things such as baskets underneath the seats to put belongs warms my heart and reminds me of how the exceptional the Japanese prides in their customer service. Also only 14 seating inside thus the long wait!

There are 2 options:
Premium Beef Sukiyaki Don (S$13.90++), topped with US Prime Beef
Kiwami Wagyu Sukiyaki Don (S$29.90++), with a generous serving of Yonezawa Beef A4

The chef prepares the beef in front of you which also reminds me of the open concept kitchen in japan.

We had the Kiwami Wagyu sukiyaki don which was topped with the most tender beef! The don was served with sesame tofu, miso soup, onsen egg, left over sukiyaki sauce, salad and assorted pickles.

There's a huge difference between the 2 bowls. The yonezawa beef A4 is significantly tender than the prime beef. Definitely worth paying more.
