REVIEW: Good Hot Pot restaurant in Singapore: Shang pin hot pot 尚品火锅

Checking out Shang pin hot pot 尚品火锅 which is a modern restaurant that serves authentic Chinese cuisine. They had a good variety of soup bases. We got a mix of 4 soup bases - Si Chuan Spicy Soup, Tomato Soup, Collagen Soup, and Golden (Pumpkin) Chicken Soup. My favorite was the tomato one! Their gourmet range of fresh seafood, meat, and vegetable produce is really fresh and top quality.

We had the Shang pin beef and black pork which was fresh. Just look at the marbling!!! They were so good! The meats are prepped as paper-thin slices. We dipped them a few times in the hot-pot broth, and in a few seconds, they were done.

I also like the beef ball w cheese which was on point with the texture. They also have the fish ball with fish roe inside. Didn't break apart!

For seafood, we had abalone and prawns, which were both fresh. They also have scallops, grouper, shellfish, codfish, pomfret, etc.
