REVIEW: CHONG QING GRILLED FISH

My virgin attempt at eating mala at Chong Qing Grilled Fish! The shop is situated at the bustling
Liang Seah Street. They have outdoor and indoor seating. You can really smell of mala lingering in the air when you step inside the restaurant. Please also note that they don't allow you to be seated inside or outside first unless everyone in your group is here. The service staff is also not very friendly too.

My foodie Friend @nelsonutella recommended the Sea Bass. We had to choose the flavor next and we chose the Spicy Fragrant (一品香辣). Finally, we chose potato slices, Luncheon meat, pig’s skin, quail eggs, and konjac as sides to be cooked with the fish.

The sauce wasn’t that numbing spicy but the after kick was strong! 🙊It makes you wanting moreeeeee.... a bit addictive ha ha it’s not too bad and it is a good experience overall!
