Arriving onto Singapore shores is Go-Ang pratunam chicken rice who was awarded the michelin bib gourmand this year. TBH, alot of the bib gourmand restaurants that came here kind of lost their authenticity. They are located in B1 at NEX.
We ordered the Single Portion Chicken Thigh rice (S$5.50) which was served with their home-made chili. I was expecting this to be super good being bib gourmand but this was lackluster. The rice had the right fragrant and aroma and the chicken thigh was tender but it lacks the wow factor. The fried tofu cube in thai sweet chili sauce. This was spicy but the tofu cube.. seems a bit overcooked with the texture being firm and dense. Was expecting it to be soft..
The steamed sea bass with chili lime and garlic lacks flavor but has tender meat. I think they had abit of everything from thailand but lacks the skills to achieve that standard.
Probably wiser to visit the outlet in thailand than this one.
