REVIEW: KOSHUICHIBA NISHI SHINJUKU STORE (広州市場 西新宿店) RAMEN

Last year's Japan trip's goal is to try out new food places! Not sure how i managed to find this place, but they serve up a very good bowl of Chinese style Japanese ramen and is famous for their wanton. You have to choose between Shoyu and Shio broth. The 1st floor are counter seats and the basement have a much larger space. This place can get crowded during lunch time and there were short queues to go in when I was there for lunch.  Check out this page for all the ramen places i have visited so far.

I ordered the standard 広州云吞面. The noodles came submerged in this clear shoyu broth topped with 10 wanton with a hard boiled egg, vegetables and bamboo shoots. The noodles were the thin kind but were tasty and springy. The wanton with pork, chives and green onion as fillings was substantial being wrapped in a thin and delicate layer of skin  I feel like the broth only made the wanton more tasty. Recommended to come to this place to try the wanton!

They're opened til midnight so make this your supper spots if you're nearby!
