REVIEW: LE SHRIMP RAMEN - RAMEN SHOP SPECIALIZING IN SHRIMP BROTH

You should know how much I love noodles!! This has been on my burpple wish list for a while and finally, I am there to eat for lunch! Le Shrimp Ramen is the perfect fusion of Chinese and Japanese culture, heavily inspired by the Japanese Ramen Broth and the Chinese La Mian. Their speciality broths are of cos Shrimp ramen and the usual tonkotsu broth.

The tonkotsu broth has a rich and creamy texture that is achieved by long hours of simmering with pork bones. Super palatable and full of collagen. The shrimp broth is the perfect marriage of fresh sea prawns, pork bones and Chinese spices, resulting in a tangerine orange-hued broth. Enjoy the best of both worlds here with the premium quality ingredients freshly prepared daily. Definitely one of kind restaurant in Singapore.

The Le Signature Trio Shrimp Ramen ($19.90) is the recommended ramen here when I enquired.
What's in the bowl: Big Prawns, Handmade ebiko prawn paste and Prawn dumplings
The prawn dumplings were substantial in size offering good value. In addition, the prawns were fresh and the ebiko prawn paste lends a nice crunch. The la mian was also not overcooked. I was pleasantly surprised by how distinct and rich the flavours that came through were.

Overall, the Chinese la mien noodles absorbed the flavourful Japanese shrimp broth well and every spoonful was an umami explosion.
