幸福堂 from Taiwan is opening their first outlet at Century Square in Singapore. Fyi, Century Square is located at Tampines and a stone throw away from the MRT Station. It seems like Singapore is becoming a congregation for Bubble Tea. Grab yours early as they're having a pop-up booth at Takashimaya basement from 30th May to 16th June. We tried the Signature Brown Sugar boba milk and Damascus Rose with Lemons.
幸福堂's pearl is stir-fried with brown sugar on the spot and that imparts the smokiness and strong caramelized flavor. The signature brown sugar drinks come with stripes that are made with lashings of brown sugar around the cup. The milk and cream are then added with the finishing touch of torching of brown sugar atop the milk. We were instructed to shake the cup 18 times. This ensures the drink is thoroughly mixed. Love the soft chewy pearls too. 😍
Damascus Rose with Lemons is apparently a new drink and the lemons are assembled inside the cup to make a rose shape. The intense sunset orange drink is refreshing and not too sour. The perfect drink to beat the constant Singapore summer weather.
