Pin Wei Hong Kong Style Chee Cheong Fun & Gather the Misfits Cafe

Pin Wei Hong Kong Style Chee Cheong Fun 品味港式猪肠粉
Located at Pek Kio Market & Food Centre, Pin Wei Chee Cheong Fun is one of only a few stalls serving this Hong Kong Style Cheong Fun in Singapore. The HongKong style is covered in a light soy sauce and the skin is typically thinner and has fillings. My Fresh prawns cheong fun was wrapped in this silky smooth handmade rice rolls and garnished with toasted sesame seeds. Not to mention being included in the Michelin Plate! Choose from plain Cheong fun ($2.20), Char Siew ($3.00), Prawns ($4.00) or Scallop ($4.50). This is one of the must-try Chee Cheong Fun in Singapore!

Gather the Misfits
Located at Rangoon Road where there are many cafes around, Gather the Misfits seeks to stand out from the rest with food such as Cauliflower Gatau with Spicy Mayo toasties ($9),  Smoked Fish with Bonito Cream Toasties ($13) and Prosciutto with Black Garlic Mayo ($13). Interesting?
I ordered the safer choice which was the Earl Grey Waffle with Pandan Ice Cream ($9.50).
I wished that the earl grey flavour was more prominent in the waffle and coffee and likewise for the pandan ice cream, but the texture was smooth and creamy.
The cafe is rather spacious with comfortable sofa seats and also photo spots for that selfie or OOTD. They also have a shop at the back selling random knick-knacks and clothing which the staff kindly told me. All in all, I think this cafe is a very good place for families and friends to gather! The nearest MRT to this cafe is either Farrer Park MRT or Boon Keng MRT station.
