For the first time ever, 1 Michelin Star Alma by Juan Amador is offering a Father’s Day Special Menu at S$183+ suitable for 2-4 pax from 17 June to 20 June 2020.

 The Father’s Day Special Menu comprises Australian corn-fed spatchcock (1.1kg), marinated with harissa for over 12 hours and subsequently charcoal-grilled over coconut husks - creating a piquant, spicy, and smoky edge with a juicy and tender inside. The main is accompanied with a moreish red pepper dip with rice crisps, refreshing salad filled with cos lettuce and chickpeas, an appetizing smoked yellow lentil soup, stuffed boneless chicken with sushi rice, and an oven-baked, aromatic moussaka. The house-made dessert, a decadent Valrhona Chocolate Fudge Cake (700g), and a bottle of Italian Scaia Corvina 2016 mark a blissful end that is sure to put a smile on all dads.


Surprise them further with these specially curated and indulgent gifts: 30gm of Amur Caviar and Suntory Japanese Whisky at S$178+ (U.P S$254+). The Amur Caviar by Caviar Colony is served with homemade potato blinis, fresh Crème Fraiche and Chives. Caviar Colony’s sturgeons are nourished with its own proprietary blend of feed which is antibiotics- and chemical-free. They are raised in the fresh, pristine spring waters from the Yunnan mountains, in Heilongjiang province, and harvested after 10 years – producing a nutty and light, buttery flavor, with a long, briny finish. The Suntory TOKI Japanese Whisky is blended from Suntory’s three distilleries: Yamazaki, Hakushu, and Chita. Toki, which means ‘time’ in Japanese, has a different composition to its sister blend, Suntory Hibiki with main components such as Hakushu single malt and Chita grain whiskey – bringing a round, sweet blend with a refreshing citrusy profile and spicy finish.

Valrhona Father’s Day Chocolate Party at $68+

For whiskey lovers, the 100gm Amur Caviar and Michel Couvreur Overaged Whiskey at S$368+ (U.P S$526+) provides a new experience. The vatting of single malts aged between 12 and 20 years in Pedro Ximenez casks is a taste to be savored by whiskey lovers with a subtle intermingling of spicy, fruity, nutty, and chocolaty profile and a svelte, cream-textured entry.

The Valrhona Father’s Day Chocolate Party at S$68+ is the perfect surprise for dads with a sweet tooth. The bundle is filled with delectable desserts using the world’s leading producer of chocolate, Valrhona. With a house-made Chocolate Fudge Cake (700gm) that is rich and velvety, 70% Chocolate-Rum Madeleines (8 pcs) which intrigues, soft and tender Jivara Chocolate Canelé (5pcs), and melt-in-your-mouth Dulcey Chocolate Cookies (160gm), they definitely make an unforgettable party.

The Father’s Day Wine Set A at S$128+ (U.PS$225+) consists of the Pierre Paillard NV 375ml Champagne; racy, with a tightly knit palate of apricot, chalk, lemon zest, and biscuit flavors, featuring a vivacious, lacy mousse, Chateau Haut Pougnan Blanc Bordeaux France; a refreshing, ripe wine featuring rich apricot and pear flavors with a tinge of acidity for an added depth of flavor, and the Chateau Haut Pougnan Rouge Bordeaux France; a classic red Bordeaux blend with Merlot (50%), Cabernet Sauvignon (40%), and Cabernet Franc – filled with soft, bramble fruit flavors with vanilla notes from its time spent aging in oak barrels.


The Father’s Day Wine Set B at S$298+ (U.PS$388+) consists of the Diebolt Vallois NV Champagne (Wine Spectator: 92pts); a reminder of an orchard in late spring with a blend of floral and fruit notes of ripe apple, white cherry, and apricot accompanied by firm zesty acidity, underlying minerality, and a lingering finishing of ginger, Domaine Bernard Defaix Chablis Premier Cru NV; a balanced and layered wine with mineral aromas reminiscent of gunflint, and Amarone ‘Campo dei Gigli’ Tenuta Sant’Antonio 2015; an austere and intense still red wine with a fruity, spicy aroma – both savory and well-balanced, aged for three years in a barrel.
