Cannot get enough of YUN NANS’ signature dishes? Now, the restaurant is offering an exciting promotion: nine of its hot favorites will each go at S$20 for walk-in takeaways! Hailing from and known in China as 云海肴 (pronounced as “Yunhaiyao”), YUN NANS is the largest Yunnan F&B chain in the world, with over 200 outlets in China. Since its opening, the restaurant has been winning over the hearts of local gourmands with its repertoire of highland cuisine (gao yuan Liao li). The dishes are prepared with authentic Yunnan ingredients specially imported from the province. There are seven tropical belts in Yunnan and the highest measures 6,000 meters above sea level. Free from pollution, the natural terrain teems with morel mushroom, wild porcini, wild black truffle, wheat pumpkin (green pumpkin), and edible flowers such as jasmine flowers, rose, and chrysanthemum. YUN NANS Singapore imports these premium ingredients directly. 

From 2 August, YUN NANS will have a special S$20 promotion on selected dishes for walk-in takeaways. Choose from hot favorites as follows:


Steam Pot Chicken Soup
: The signature iconic dish of YUN NANS is prepared in a hand-made Jianshui clay pot. Only the special breed of black feet chickens is used and the soup is brewed using a unique technique that does not require a single drop of water. Instead, the chicken is pressure-steamed for 3 hours. The soup is clear, delicate, nourishing, and robust in flavor without leaving a greasy aftertaste.


Poached Seabass in Spicy Pickled Vegetable Broth: The Poached Seabass in Spicy Pickled Vegetable Broth showcases Yunnan's mustard greens. A duo of pickled vegetables is used to achieve a winning combination of flavors. The pickled vegetables are fried with pickled chilies and freshly ground fresh chilies for a piquant soup base, then cooked with ingredients such as seabass, sweet potato flour sticks, and tofu. This is a very moreish dish that goes well with rice.


Grilled Seabass with Lemongrass: Marinated with 6 types of spices, the seabass is grilled over charcoal and then sprinkled generously with an in-house chili seasoning mix before serving.


Braised Wild Porcini Mushrooms: This savory and aromatic dish comprises the pairing of wild porcini with special Yunnan chilies. Braised porcini gives a tender texture with deep flavors.


Deep-fried Prawns with Salted Egg Yolk and Jasmine Petals: Huge, juicy, succulent prawns, deep-fried to crisp edges and then coated with a golden piquant sauce — this is a most addictive dish!


Poached Pork Collar with Pickled Chillies: The pork collar is poached in a slightly spicy-sourish broth, using Yunnan's specialty pickled chili, resulting in a flavourful dish that is very moreish.


Spicy Patin Fish in Tomato Broth: The tanginess and slight heat make this dish appetizing and mouth-wateringly delicious. It is a perfect complement to the sweet and tender fish slices.


Beef Stew in Copper Pot: This dish showcases juicy and tender chunks of beef shin, beef tendon, and baby cabbage, potato, turnip, dried pepper, garlic sprout, scallion, all of which are simmered for more than 4 hours.

Stir-Fried Wild Porcini Mushrooms: Wild Porcini Mushrooms, found 2000-3000m above sea level, are flash-fried with Yunnan dried chilies and solo garlic, giving it a slightly crunchy texture with deep flavors.
