REVIEW: Authentic Thai Tea Crepe Cake and Rainbow warabi mochi

If you haven't heard of Two Bake Boys, they began this home-based business due to covid in July 2020 to supplement their family income and are the 1st Authentic Thai Tea Crepe Cake in SG.
If you don't prefer those overly sweet thai tea crepe cakes, this one is for you! I like how balanced their flavor was and even pouring the Thai Tea sauce didn't make it overly sweet. The crepes are soft and moist with the right amount of cream between layers.

Traveling to Japan now appears to be a distant dream. My regular holidays to Japan will be sorely missed. In Singapore, we are fortunate to have a diverse range of Japanese foods.

Warabimochi is a wagashi prepared with warabiko that has been dipped or smeared in kinako. It's not the same as authentic glutinous rice mochi. It is very popular in the summer in the Kansai area and Okinawa.

I succumbed to temptation after seeing someone order these Spuds and Soda warabi mochis. I requested the four-flavor custom mix. I ordered two classic flavors, Kinako and Houjicha, as well as two unique flavors, Blackcurrant and Fruit Punch. Fruit punch has to be my favorite! The jelly-like texture is quite genuine, and the flavor is unique and refreshing.
