REVIEW: Good hawker food in Singapore: Delicious wok hei fried porridge at Feng Xiang Bak Kut Teh 豐香肉骨茶

When I was looking for a delicious porridge in the beauty world neighborhood, Feng Xiang Bak Kut Teh 豐香肉骨茶 showed up in the search. Despite the fact that they are a bak kut teh shop, Seth Lui and misstamchiak raved about their claypot fried porridge, so I had to try it! I ordered the abalone fried porridge, which came with three baby abalones, abalone slices, and a heaping helping of dried shallots and spring onions.

Fried porridge is just porridge fried with other ingredients and seasoning in a wok. As a result, the porridge became thicker and less watery. This also imparts the smoky flavor of wok hei to the porridge. This is what customers can expect from Feng Xiang Bak Kut Teh. It was also very tasty because the porridge was cooked in a specific broth before being fried. I also love how creamy this is. There are 6 kinds of fried porridge on their menu.

Also don't miss their Bak Kut teh which is the herbal kind.
