REVIEW: Good japanese hawker food in Singapore: MENTAI SENS - AFFORDABLE MENTAI DON AND JAPANESE RICE BOWLS IN SINGAPORE

I was having lunch at Beauty World Food Centre when I came across Mentai SENS (明太晟). The Signature Mentaiko Chicken Don was calling my name, so I ordered it for lunch!

They have a few outlets in SG, Food park at Cambridge road,  2 Lor Lew Lian, 107 Clementi Street 12 and Blk 485, 1 Segar Rd.

A bed of Japanese short-grain rice, egg, pickled radish, seaweed, lettuce, and fried chicken with a generous dressing of torched mentaiko sauce make up my chicken don. The chicken was flavorful and tender, and the mentaiko made it even better!! I've had salty mentaiko before, but this was incredible!

If mentaiko is not your thing, there's a variety of rice bowls that you can choose from such as salmon, pork, fish, ebi, and also cheese gyuniki. The cheese gyuniku looks so tempting, maybe I will order that for lunch or dinner next time!
