REVIEW: Good hakka food in Singapore: Love U Food 喜欢擂 Lei Cha at one north Fusionopolis

I didn't know there's Lei Cha at Fusionopolis?! Love U Food 喜欢擂 is conveniently near One-North MRT Station. They're a family business with the son taking over, but still, the parents help out at the shop. Their shop feels like a cafe with low-hanging lights and leaves on the ceiling. very warm and cozy place. Do check them out if you're craving lei cha near one-north, they're very near to the MRT Station.

See my list of 5 leicha in Singapore to try!

They serve the standard leicha topped with assorted vegetables, beans, nuts, and tofu, and served with a green soup made of various herbs, tea leaves, nuts, and seeds. I love how palatable their leicha is. Theirs are not very gao but v well-balanced in flavor. The shop has the option to have this with white rice, brown rice, and bee hoon.

Their unique selling point is that their 𝐋𝐞𝐢𝐜𝐡𝐚 𝐛𝐞𝐞 𝐡𝐨𝐨𝐧 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐫𝐢𝐜𝐞 were soaked and cooked with their signature leicha with the aroma and taste of leicha infused. You can also add more lei cha! Not to mention, their 𝐩𝐨𝐫𝐤 𝐜𝐮𝐭𝐥𝐞𝐭 which was so well-fried and crunchy. The pork cutlet lei cha rice and bee hoon come with vegetables and sunny-side-up as sides.

They also have some Hakka delights such as 𝐘𝐨𝐧𝐠 𝐭𝐚𝐮 𝐟𝐨𝐨 and 𝐕𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐠𝐚𝐫 𝐏𝐨𝐫𝐤 𝐓𝐫𝐨𝐭𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐬. They have the Taiwan braised pork rice as well.

Their Yong Tau foo is customizable such as you can choose the base which consists of rice, brown rice, noodles, kway teow, spinach noodles, bee hoon, wholemeal kaka noodles, and add $2 for lei cha rice. There's a total of 12 yong tau foo ingredients you can choose and add to your meal. They're still a lei cha specialty shop so the ingredients are a little limited here.
