Capitol Singapore and CHIJMES invite one and all to rev up their appetites for delicious dines and adrenaline-filled adventures as the two landmarks celebrate the Formula One Grand Prix Season Singapore and OktoberFest concurrently. 

There will be a live screening of the fastest race in the world, live music, free-flowing beer, authentic German delicacies, and racecar simulators for you to have a go at testing your track racing skills, alongside breathtaking projection mapping, lucky dips, and a chance to win free beer!

From 30 September till 23 October 2022, bring your family and friends for a host of heart-thumping speed-chasing and adrenaline-pumping times of fun at Capitol Singapore and CHIJMES.

Formula One Live Screening

On race days from 30 September to 2 October, catch the exhilarating, action-packed Formula 1 Singapore Grand Prix races across three locations. The races will be live-screened from 5.30pm-10pm at CHIJMES Level B1, Arcade @ The Capitol Kempinski, and the Outdoor Plaza of Capitol Singapore. Delve into comprehensive live coverage alongside a sea of other race fans for an immersive 2022 Singapore Night Race season. 

You can also put your own racing skills to the test at Capitol Singapore during the race weekend. Simply spend $30 and you’re entitled to have a go at the race car simulator at the Outdoor Plaza. The racer of the day gets to walk away with a $50 Capitol Singapore and CHIJMES voucher. 

OktoberFest Parties

Fuel your race vibes with the OktoberFest party at Capitol Singapore’s Outdoor Plaza, happening on the weekends of 30 September to 2 October and 7 to 9 October, from 5.30pm-10pm. Immerse yourself in live music from Summer Oompah!  playing the exuberant tunes of Oktoberfest on 30 September to 1 Oct and 7 to 8 October and enjoying light bites from Frieda German Restaurant.

Other than live music and delicious bites, you can also look out for artisanal products and handmade gifts from the Pop-Up Market. From 7 to 8 October, be amongst the first 30 to turn up at the party in a Lederhosen or Bavarian dress and you’ll enjoy a free pretzel. 

Over at CHIJMES, you can also immerse in the cozy and intimate outdoor lawn experience while feasting on OktoberFest Specials from PEMENCO at The Lawn, happening from 29 September to 10 October.

CHIJMES Hall flaunts yet another new look in its projection mapping series, from 30 September to 23 October from 7.30pm-10.30pm. This time, it borrows animation elements from OktoberFest in keeping up with the theme of the season, promising a treat for the eyes.
