Menya Kokoro Reimagines Local Favourites with a Japanese Twist this National Day


Paying homage to a beloved Singaporean favorite, prawn noodles. Menya Kokoro introduces two new creations with a unique Japanese touch, just in time for the National Day celebrations! Look forward to their thin, flat handmade noodles crafted from Japanese wholewheat for the ultimate slurp!

Using only fresh noodles that are handmade in-store daily, savor Menya Kokoro’s signature springy noodles with a delightfully chewy mouthfeel made from whole grain Japanese wheat flour imported directly from Japan. Exclusively at the 100AM outlet, enjoy a bowl of mazesoba or ramen while the soothing noodle-making process mesmerizes you through the glass show kitchen as smooth doughy strands are churned, portioned, and bundled for use.

Too hot for soupy foods? Give the ‘Super’ Ebi Mazesoba a go! A broth-less ramen of sorts, give the entire bowl and all its ingredients a good toss before tucking it in. Enjoy a multitude of flavors and textures in every bite, from the wok-kissed fragrance of thick-cut cubed aburi chashu to crunchy Sakura Ebi Crumbs, elevated with the rich ebi sauce that ties it all together alongside Kokoro’s signature minced meat sauce and pops of tobiko. Each bowl is also topped with two juicy de-shelled prawns, chopped fresh garlic, shredded seaweed, beansprouts, spring onions, and an oozy onsen egg. Pro-tip: add a dash of housemade kombu vinegar for a refreshing uplift!

For umami comfort in a bowl, savor the ‘Super’ Ebi Ramen that comes with a flavourful pure prawn broth blended with rich tonkotsu soup and homemade chili paste for a touch of spice. Each bowl comes topped with juicy de-shelled prawns, tender aburi chashu slices, and crunchy Sakura Ebi Crumbs. An array of savory condiments such as fragrant garlic paste, seaweed, beansprouts, spring onions, and tamago also accompany each bowl.
