RECIPE: Pasta and Olives

Pasta and Olives

Ingredients:

  • Some Olives from Sonnamera
  • Prego Traditional Tomato Pasta Sauce
  • Lundberg, Rotini, Brown Rice Pasta
  • Shiitake Mushrooms
  • Carrots














Directions:
  1. Cook brown rice pasta in large pan of salt water for around 5-7 minutes to achieve al-dente texture 
  2. Stir fry mushrooms, carrots and olives for around 5 minutes.
  3. Add tomato pasta sauce and brine into the already cooked ingredients. Cook for awhile more.
  4. Add drained pasta.
  5. Serve and add basil as dressing on top. 
I feel like adding the brine adds more depth to the already sweet taste of the pasta sauce. :) This is easy to make and only take no less than 15 minutes.
