REVIEW: FLAMING CHICKEN POT 雞煲火鍋 - HOT POT CONCEPT IN YISHUN

Flaming Chicken Pot 雞煲火鍋 🐔🐔🍲🍲

Bringing their love of 鸡公堡 back from Hong Kong and perfecting the recipe for a year comes to this new Flaming Chicken Pot stall at Yishun. I seldom set foot in Yishun but now I have another reason to if I'm nearby. They're also the first hawker stall to adopt the nose-to-tail dining concept which means every part of the chicken is used to minimize wastage.

Address: 747 Yishun Street 72, Hiap Hoe Eating House, Singapore 760747
Opening Hours: 11am - 11pm daily

Their Black and white pot reminds me of 黑白配. who says you can't enjoy both at the same time?
You have the options of a single pot, half chicken and full chicken.
Perfectly fine for solo dining and large group gatherings. #comfortfood

The black pot reminds me of 宫保鸡丁 but with mala.
It is also customizable with 4 levels of spiciness. Mao Tai liquor is used which has a distinctive fragrance that resembles soy sauce to flambe the pot before adding the chicken.

The white pot has a rich and savory broth that's brewed with pig stomach and chicken. You can choose to cook the sides on your own like we did or have the chef cook everything for you before serving.

You can also order sides such as the Baby Lobsters, luncheon meat, assorted mushrooms,  noodles, meatballs, and beancurd skin to make it a steamboat.

For just $58, Enjoy 1 Black pot(1/2 🐔), 1 White pot(1/2 🐔), 3 meat and 3 vegetable items of your choice.

Here's a clawsome dine-in promotion:
5pm - 6pm - 10 XXL baby lobster for $5.80
6pm - 7pm - 5 XXL baby lobster for $5.80

Thanks, @eatsnapsg for the invite and @flamingchickenpot for hosting us. :)
